  • 1.  3-D Printers for Theatrical Use

    Posted 01-10-2018 17:51
I am inclined to purchase a 3D Printer for use in our prop shop. I have a basic understanding for how they work. But I do not know where to start in terms of identifying a vendor and a model for a 3D Printer for theatrical use. Who can make a recommendation?

    Hi Mark,

A few months ago one of the Teaching Theatre contributors interviewed me for an article on 3D printers. She mentioned it would run in a future issue. Not sure if it will include information on comparing printers, but it might be worth waiting to see before you purchase.

Look for the article on 3D printers in the March issue of Teaching Theatre. It's more about use that comparison. We plan a theatrical products comparison guide in the July issue of Teaching Theatre.
