Hi Kate,
I am assuming that there hasn't been a response to your query because no one has yet received permission from the rights holder to make a one-act cutting of "Silent Sky". You can start the process by going through the proper channels and reaching out to Dramatists Play Service. They may already have a cutting approved by Lauren Gunderson. It also may be that the playwright has not/ will not authorize the play being changed or cut. This happens often, so be ready with an alternative project if you get turned down.
I personally haven't gone through this process for a one-act cutting specifically before, so there is probably someone who has some tips relating to this particular question.
Good luck and I hope you succeed as I think "Silent Sky" is a terrific project!

Subject: Silent Sky One Act
Hello!
I am working on a one act cutting of Silent Sky, and wondering if anyone has already cut it to a one act for a festival and if they would be willing to share what they did? Thanks!
