How do you create the Prince's Horse and Wishing Well?  Help!

Creative choreography--We did without both. The music has a marching rhythm and she had a bucket and a cup to offer him water. I think you do need the monster though. It establishes that he isn't a slacker but has just been really busy killing bad guys. Ours was a fire breathing, wing-moving 9 foot yard blow up dragon from HOME DEPOT. It was hysterical when he stabbed and it collapsed!  (Ok, maybe only I thought it was hysterical... Oh, the things we put in shows simply to amuse ourselves!!  It did get applause every night.)   LOVED the show. The book is a thousand times better than the old one and our kids had a terrific time. The other essential is the transforming dresses. THE COSTUMER did ours and they worked great!

For the well, we cut 2 wooden- O's out of 3/4 ply one for the top of the well the other for the bottom.  Then connected with 1x4's to the height wished and braced to prevent collapse.  Then placed casters on the bottom O (as ours was brought in and out via roll - we flew the wall - which we did instead of trees since we couldn't get the trees to work and time was running out).  Once the frame was done we sculpted chicken wire around the outer skeleton and covered with paper-mache and painted to look like river rock.

For the horse we just nixed it and he and his caravan just marched in as soldiers on foot.

We created the horse on a large sawhorse with 4x4 and bolts creatively placed as the head, and various fabrics and yarns for body and mane. Placed it on a rolling platform that had pipes affixed for pushing and put flags at the top of the poles. It was a hit. Our aesthetic for the entire set was 2D cartoon, so our well was a cut out placed about 2 feet in front of the wall for depth. The Giant was invisible offstage. Our choreographer did a really good job with that one.
