I use
Theatre: A Way of Seeing for my juniors, which is a fairly good intro-level book. I use
Drama: Classical to Contemporary with my seniors, which is more like a college-level drama anthology with a history chapter at the beginning of each unit. I also use
Types of Drama as a reference and for discussion questions.
Theatre: Art in Action (

Subject: Textbooks
Hi everyone,
I've started teaching a theatre history class at my high school. I've been using material I've obtained in college, but the problem is that I can't find a good textbook that's at a high school level. Any recommendations?
