Can anyone recommend a cute Murder mystery for a school  dinner theatre venue? Middle school actors.

I have directed "Murder at the Banquet" years ago and it was cute.

We did Tonylou production's "Trouble at the Tropicabana" a few years back. Horribly cheesy, but I still laugh about scenes from that show. I mean, it is hard to go wrong with an "I Love Lucy" spoof, especially if you have a good fit with your cast. It has been my favorite yet, and I have done at least 10 mystery shows within the past 6 years. And very affordable!

We did Death By Dessert a few years ago and people in the community still talk about it. The kids had a blast- great fun!

We have done MURDER IN THE KNIFE ROOM by Jonathan Rand twice.  My junior drama students did it with great success and wanted to do it again when they were seniors.  I relented because they were so enthusiastic about it.  The students love the cheesy humor from typical sterotyped characters.  Knives on the wall can include the realistic or the ridiculous or both for a comedy effect.
