    Please share Playwriting Unit plan with me also!
    Also, for those interested, I started a Playwriting course last year, and the requirement that students submit a ten-minute play to a contest by midterm really drove the class. 16 of 17 students submitted an entry, and 1 won a place in the festival of productions. 
    Key element to drive home was a theatrical event: something that "can't be done on stage" that surprises the audience.

    Have you checked on tedb.byu.edu?  There are a few playwriting curriculum units on there. Along with a ton of other subjects.
