We used The Costumer out of Schenectady NY. and they provided both the nuns outfits and the silver overlays. At that time it was very new so they rented us their Nunsense stock. We used the silver for the act one finale. We just bought a few yards of hot pink glitter fabric and cut simple squares to use as overlays for the act 2 finale. Kids just slipped a loop over their heads. We had the young postulant nun wear the knee high hot pink boots that Delores gave her with a pink glitter sash. The white gown that we rented for Delores was great. It sort of echoed the habits but was clearly not. Bought the blue fur coat online from China for like 30 dollars. Just be sure it fits- sizes run very small. Email for pictures.
We did Emma, a Pop Musical as our spring play that year. It is cheesy the kids had great fun with it!

We just finished a run of Sister Act and it was FABULOUS! Such a fun show! We rented our nun costumes from a company in Texas and they were great.
