I'm looking for suggestions to clean clown white off of our velour main curtain after our performance of Addams Family.  Thank you.

Dry clean!!!  You will have to send them out.  Water will ruin the flame retardant (and leave terrible looking stains, as well)

*edit- I realize you said velour after I posted.  I'd still be careful with water and test a small area before washing.  If it's a large amount of cleaning, I'd still have them professionally cleaned.

It depends on what fabric the main curtains are made of and what the make-up was, dry cleaning is the best bet. If you do decide to send it in for cleaning, make sure to send the entire curtain in as shrinkage may occur and while in they should be re-flame treated as well.
