I'm working with a student with a different disability but still has speech difficulties. I didn't work with the speech pathologist only because it is not listed on his IEP. My school is pretty strict when it comes to not overwriting or over reaching IEP paperwork.
I've made different allowances for his volume and clarity and the students have not had a visible problem in working with him.
Every school is different.
