I have a character in a play this fall with super-strength and I need ideas for practical effects that fit the scene. The setting is a conference room at a women's organization where two detectives are interviewing suspects in a murder. Given that setting, bending a crow-bar doesn't really fit. Smashing a breakaway glass mug seems too easy.

Does the script give you any clues? IOW, does the character do something that prompts a response from another character?

    Good Morning!
Are there other things that you can do with flipping a (perceived) heavy table? Maybe use a breakaway chair that he smashes similar to the one in Les Mis during Fantine's death?
    Good luck!
