Does anyone know of an app or program to create, record and fire sound effects or sound bits for live stage productions?

I use PlayFadePause which is only available for iPad to cue all of our sound effects. It does cool stuff but doesn't create the effects. You have to get the sounds first. For that, I use Voice Recorder and free sounds on YouTube and drop them into Google Drive. Then you open them from Drive to PlayFadePause.

Q-Lab and GoButton are all I use for sound playback. Both are free, but are Mac/iPad only.

If I need to edit sound I use Garageband. A lot of people also like Audacity, but I find Garageband more intuitive.

    Good morning,

I like Q-Lab as well. Some nice trimming features and looping options. You can also use it when working with projections.
