  • 1.  Online Dialect Resource

I am about to read The Importance of Being Earnest in class and i usually do a mini-unit on British Accents first.  I have antiquated CDs that I cannot use in a hybrid setting.  Anyone know of any online resources that I can purchase or subscribe to?  A plus if it offers many different dialects.

    Thanks!

I'd highly recommend AccentHelp.com - it's a great resource and worth the investment!
Each accent purchased provides an in-depth explanation and many samples of the accent from folks living in those areas/countries in order to hear the variations of dialect. You also receive the audio files in MP3 format, along with a pdf of teaching resources.
