    Does anyone have any suggestions on Lion King Jr. sets (on a budget)?
    Or perhaps designs/sketches that I may use from a     recent production if you have done the show?
    We go up May 3, and my goal is to at least get Pride Rock and Scar's Lair built before showtime.
    Also thinking about maybe trying the new BMD digital backdrops/projections. Thoughts?

    We made pride rock and scars cave one piece. It was on wheels so we could rotate it and had locks to keep it from moving. I believe we made it about 5 ft high. We also moved it around to represent a cliff as well during the scene when Mufasa sings they live in you. Everything else we used projections which were really cool!

    We did a 9 day Lion King Kids summer program last July for elementary/jr high kids. With such a short schedule we built a unit set with some cut outs which we lit with LEDs from within. 

    I'm attaching a photos. Hope it might give you some ideas.
