Hello,
We, along with everyone else, are producing Mamma Mia this spring.  Does anyone have any good ideas of what we could use to simulate the beach/sand?  We are staging this scene on our large apron left and there is no balcony so a true ground cloth is not needed.  We were looking for something that would provide this illusion more that just a beach chair and some palm fronds.

Gobos and golden/yellow gels. I am using them for beach sand and it works great. I have small leaf patterned gobos that work just fine to create the texture I am after without having to buy more.
