    Hey everyone! I am trying to create my season this year around "The Ocean/Sea" as a theme. I have found some one acts for festival, and we'll do Little Mermaid for our musical, but I'm having trouble finding a full length play for the fall. Anyone have an ideas for a girl heavy play that could relate to the ocean?

    Shakespeare's The Tempest?

    Eugene O'Neill has several one-acts relating to the ocean - one that springs to mind is "Thirst," about three people stranded on a lifeboat. You might put some of those together for an evening.

    How about Ondine  by Jean Giraudoux ? Fairy tale quality, lots of characters. Also, it would pair beautifully with The Little Mermaid.

    There is a play about selkies which I believe is a dramatic publishing offering. I will look and see if I have it. I really liked it but haven't had a chance to do it.

    What about a cutting/adaptation of a watery Shakespeare piece such as The Tempest or Twelfth Night ?  Or something from Greek myth e.g. Argonautika by Mary Zimmerman?
