I have an incredible group of senior girls next year and we're having trouble choosing our big spring musical. Can anyone offer advice about producing Leader of the Pack? Would you recommend it? Did the cast enjoy performing the show? Did the audience enjoy it? Thank you!

We did it  a few years ago to great effect.  The kids enjoyed the show and we had a few parents who really got into the act!  We had a beautiful vintage motorcycle roped off in the lobby and on show weekend a different classic 60's convertible parked in front of school for picture ops. It created lots of fun buzz! We used the entire school chorus for the back up gospel choir in 'River Deep Mountain High".   It created a wow when they appeared and adding all those extra kids drove ticket sales.  They rehearsed in chorus class and only joined us during tech.  The only cost was choir robes.  It was a fun addition. The way the numbers are structured you can feature different kids so that pretty much everyone who is talented can have a moment of spotlight.   Good Luck!
