Did anyone catch The Lightening Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical in NYC before it closed. A great adaptation of the first book and a great show for high school. Unfortunately (?), it's touring in 2018. I found out my kids love the books and can't wait to see the show.
The production at the Lucille Lortel Theatre used a "cheap" aesthetic that totally worked.
