Hello mighty theatre educators. I've been slugging my way through a constantly changing schedule at school. We are now in a "blended plus" hybrid: alphabetically half the kids are virtual and half in the classroom on screen for half a day and then they flip. We are not on zoom - we use Microsoft Teams. I teach five classes. The awkward division of students alphabetically has made projects - scene work and workshops difficult because the students at home cannot hear what is going on on stage (behind masks and face shields.)  I am using a large monitor, computer speakers to hear the kids at home, a webcam and an external omni-directional mic but it is not picking up audio on stage. I'm interested in knowing what technical set ups you who are teaching in this dual modality are using and how you are solving lesson planning with having to teach students in the classroom and virtually at the same time. Thanks for any ideas and input.
