Hello, Adrianne
Official Thespian and Junior Thespian induction provides a lifetime membership. The troupe director can, however, suspend or withdraw a student's status as a member in good standing of the local troupe. This policy is addressed in the Junior Thespian Troupe Handbook. It is acceptable for troupes to set their own participation, behavior, attendance, minimum GPA, or other requirements to maintain good standing. Local troupe standing does not affect a student's membership status or benefits that come directly from the International Thespian Society, for example, their membership card, induction pin, membership certificate, or listing on the international membership rolls.

Subject: Junior Thespian Status
I have a daughter that has been a Junior Thespian for 2 years. She currently isn't in a show and the director says that she is no longer considered an active member. Is that correct? Does she lose active status if she isn't constantly in a production? Once inducted, what is required for maintenance from year to year? I'm not finding that information. Thanks!
