    Do performances and/or competitions with a high school band or middle school choir merit Thespian points? I can't seem to find this particular subject in any thread. Help please.

    I don't think there's any guidelines for band/chorus. Our choral program does a big song and dance gala each year, but I don't give points for it, in part because by senior year, most chorus kids would have enough points to join without ever being in a drama production (I do give points for those who work tech for the event). For band, I only give points for being in the musical orchestra.

    It depends. I don't allow students to double dip. If they are getting <g data-gr-id="144" id="144" class="gr_ gr_144 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_run_anim Grammar only-ins doubleReplace replaceWithoutSep">class</g> or club credit for it already, I don't let them count it for points. As long as it falls into our point categories and they aren't getting credit for it elsewhere, they can count it for points.
