We are rehearsing Big Fish and I am looking for your suggestions on dealing with the need for many Daffodils. I would be interested in renting flowers if you have them.

    Hi Nancy,

Suggest you contact PLAY THEATRE over in Scotch Plains to see how they dealt with the daffodils. They presented BIG FISH School Edition the last week of January.

Delbarton School in Morristown did the show 2 weeks ago. Look for Matt Corica's email address on this page by clicking on the 'upcoming productions' tab:

Veritas Christian Academy in Sparta is also doing the show, although they open a month after you. Perhaps you can source/share costs.
Look for Sara Bartlett's email address here:

Colts Neck HS & Manasquan HS are also doing the show in April, but they're much further away.

There's an adult drama group doing the show - opening next weekend - using North Brunswick Township HS as their stage. The director (Michael Mritz) can be reached at this phone (bottom of the page):

We're currently doing a production of Big Fish and I've purchased fake flowers from a wholesaler.  It basically runs $0.69 a stem.  These are of higher quality.  Walmart sells cheaper quality for $0.42 a stem.  We're going to be using the audience participation but using yellow pinwheels instead of flowers because the paper is far cheaper.

Hello,  What a beautiful show.  I had a wonderful experience working on this.  We created the daffodils by tying bows out of yellow ribbons.  It was a bit time consuming, but if you have an "all hands on deck" session you could produce a lot.
