  • 1.  National Core Arts Standards- Theatre

    Does anyone have an excel spreadsheet of the National Core Arts Standards for Theatre? At my new school we are using Planbook that links the standards to each lesson. I have the pdf but they require me to submit an excel sheet for easy submission.

    I converted the PDF to an excel with smallpdf.com, and the file is attached.

    It does have some formatting issues, and puts each table on a separate sheet, but you may be able to work around this, and do some reformatting to get it to work with Planbook.

    Kala, The excel spreadsheet conversion should help you. Two other things you might consider: in the Advocacy Community the standards are formatted by Artistic Process (Creating, Performing, Responding and Connecting). Also, as you considering how to use the standards in your planbook, please consider trying the handbook feature on the National Core Arts Standards website that allows you build a customizable sheet that chooses specific grade levels, standards, and other features per artistic discipline (including theatre) and download them to a planning book (or email them to others).
