    I'm about to teach high school for the first time! My Drama 2 students will be combined with the Advanced Drama students in the same class period. I'm looking for any tips, resources, or successes other teachers have had with combined classes.

    I have the same set-up. I’ve found it easiest to put the class on a two year rotation of units so I’m not constantly having to teach two lessons. Throughout the year, I’ll also give the students acting projects where the level 2 students get a leadership role/direct. This has worked well for me so far and eliminates the problems that would come with having the two classes working on different projects.
