    Hi All,

Has anyone subscribed to the Stage Agent database for scenes and monologues?  I'm wondering if it's worth the hefty price tag?  My students always have challenges finding really good material for competitions and auditions.  Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Hi Laura! This thread may help you (and save you money!):

    Monologue List

A couple years ago, @Alan Strait and other Community members worked together to build some incredible resources for scenes and monologues. You'll find the information in the thread above.

I did work on setting up some lists of where monologues are, but the challenge is we cannot post the monologues themselves without violating copyright.

Here is the link to that list. If there are any plays you like. You can definitely try to find the play.

Some other things that may help would be some resources we've been putting together for Individual events.

I also have these monologue and scene information forms. I have my students fill it out any time they do a scene or monologue. I have the students write the monologues on the back so there is a copy and then we create a binder in the theatre students can use any time. Those form are on this page. https://www.nvthespians.org/acting-events.
