We have been to the Fringe twice. With a big group, we stayed at the University, which was nice, though we had to rely on the bus. With a group of ten, we stayed at a hostel right in the city. Reasonable rates, breakfast provided, and easy access. I preferred the hostel, even though there was less privacy.

Have you tried Queen Margaret University? AHSTF was planning on using that campus for overflow in 2011. It is just outside of the city, a modern campus, very nice, and there are probably shuttles into E-burgh.

Hello! I have a small emergency: the University of Edinburgh has filled up quicker than I imagined, and I need rooms for the first two weeks of the Fringe Festival. Roughly 15-20 people, students and chaperones.
Anyone have help???
