Hey,
I did Frankenstein a couple of years ago. We aren't allowed to have firing props were allowed to have the simple plastic guns onstage. We just used sound effects to cover the issue. In Jekyll & Hyde we had the gun effect happen when the actors were offstage and just had Hyde carry the body in and dump it at Helen's feet.

We have had an issue with administration in using a firing prop gun for Frankenstein. Any one do Frankenstein and use a firing prop gun? If you could not (post Columbine) use a prop gun how did you solve the issue?
