Hello,
My high school has just started rehearsals for "Don't Tell Mother" by Monk Ferris. In the script, there are two scenes where characters mix-up a light switch and a vacuum cleaner switch resulting in characters getting parts of their costumes sucked into the vacuum.
I was wondering if any has done "Don't Tell Mother" and how they handled the compromise of staying true the script and making sure that they're high school actors are adequately clothed. My initial thought was having them just loose outer layers like cardigans, aprons, etc. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
