  • 1.  Officer Board Committees

    I began running into the problem of my officers having a lot of good ideas they wanted to bring up and we were spending time debating the details of those ideas.   I decided on a spur of the moment thing to create committees for the officer to work on things outside of the meetings.  Good news is the kids like it and the class reps can do more in the process.  But I want to make sure we have all the committees established soon so we are not making new ones all the time.

    So far I have
    Publicity
    Community Service
    Fundraising
    Membership
    Tech Projects
    Buddy troupe/troupe relations
    Social Committee

    What other committees do you have or think would be a good idea?

    For the Buddy Troupe Committee, were you thinking about pairing with a Junior Troupe? If not, I would encourage you to put a committee on there that is designated to look into either helping to start a junior troupe, or working and doing activities with a junior troupe. Our troupe recently started working with our school's junior troupe, and so far, we have loved it! It is so fun to see the younger students so excited about the same thing we are! :) Glad the students are excited about this!
