  • 1.  Music for musical theatre revue

I am teaching a musical theatre class for the first time.  I co-teach with the choir director at our school.  We are going to do a musical theatre revue in the spring.  We are wondering what the best way is to go about getting the sheet music for individual pieces from different musicals?   Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks!!

Sitting here with my Musical Theatre co-teacher right now. We've had a MT audition only class for about 30 years at our school.

Our suggestions are JW Pepper and Musicnotes.com for musical selections. Going this route will allow you to do numbers from shows where the rights to the entire production isn't released yet (The Lion King, Matilda etc), but you can buy the music and perform those musical numbers in a revue.

Please buy as many copies as you need-no xeroxing. We need to support our musician friends.
