I am planning to do this show as well and had planned to run a pole from the floor to bracing at the top to create an axis for rotation and have a crew member rotate it manually. Please let me know what you do and how it works out!

Subject: The Game's Afoot - rotating bar
I did Postmortem a few years ago, which was an earlier version of The Games Afoot. I built it under the staircase landing/platform. I put the bar on wheels that could rotate and made one side the wall and the other the bar. A stick went from the bar to the bottom of the platform and I had a tech rotate it from under the platform and it stayed right in place.

I'm a bit nervous about the rotating hidden bar in The Game's Afoot. Any recommendations or words of advice as I design it?
