The four Thespian Playworks finalists have been selected and notified and we're working with them now to arrange their participation in the Thespian Festival. All other entrants were notified of their status by mail (and in fact should have received a letter from us by now).
The formal announcement of the finalist writers will be posted to the news page early in the coming week. Here's who they are:
Alexa Derman, Troupe 7582, Westfield (New Jersey) High School, for What We Talk About When We Talk About Planned Parenthood.
Francis Bass, Troupe 1429, Leon High School, Tallahassee, Florida, The Trial of Adbot Five-Seven-Nine.
Caleigh Derreberry, Troupe 3678, Brookwood High School, Lilburn, Georgia, This Play Is About Pirates: An Autobiography.
Derick Edgren, Troupe 386, Auburn High School, Rockford, Illinois, Skin.
There are five other semifinalists. There's a story about all nine semifinalist writers in the April issue of Dramatics.
