    Good morning,

We're presenting Will Eno's "Middletown" in November and I'm still on the hunt for 2 hospital beds. I have some feelers out but thought I would ask here. Has anyone ever borrowed/rented hospital beds for a show and, if so, where did you get them. I'm in the N. IL area for reference.

    Thanks!

When we did "Wit" a few years ago we utilized 2 hospital beds that I borrowed from 2 different hospitals in our area. I was fearful that I wasn't going to find a hospital bed and was going to have to construct something to look like one and in the final 2 weeks of preparations the hospitals reached out to us.   If you haven't reached out to your local hospitals I would urge you to do so.

Maybe a local assisted living facility/nursing home could help. Even if they have beds that are "decommissioned" (ie: broken), they would probably still be suitable for your purposes.
