Hi folks,
As I make plans to teach at some of the upcoming state conferences, I'm always looking for new ideas for workshops--based on what people actually want to learn. While basic playwriting and screenwriting workshops are always a good idea, I've also done monologue workshops, dialogue, comedy writing, writing the ten-minute play, the business/practical side of playwriting and even one where the teaching is improvised based on topics solicited at the start of the workshop.
But whether you're a teacher or student, is there anything in the playwriting or screenwriting realm that you'd like to see addressed in a workshop? Would love to get requests here in the forum, or you can feel free to message me privately through the system here. Thanks for any brainstorms!
Cheers,
Jonathan
