I have an amazing senior soprano who has been Cinderella, Lady Larkin, etc. through the years.  I would love to showcase her this year, but my problem is finding a show that I haven't done recently that does not also feature strong male leads.  LITTLE WOMEN would be ideal, but I did it six years ago.I have  several strong girls and few to no strong men. Suggestions?

If you've got 2 decent males I'd say go with Aida

    Depending on your community

Spamalot  - Lady of the Lake is a fantastic role, and the male roles are all comic, so the singing doesn't have to be fantastic.  They allow for edits in language, etc for different community standards

Carrie - we had a blast with it--the kids loved it.  There are only two male leads, and only one sings a solo.  All the other leads are female.

If you've also got a tenor, you might consider "My Fair Lady."  Higgins can talk-sing.  Worked for Rex Harrison!

NUNSENSE or NUNSENSE THE MEGAMUSICAL. NUNSENSE only has five women and MEGA has a small speaking role for a male who could be part of the chorus. I mounted MEGA last spring with a cast of seventeen, three of whom were non-singing males.

Oklahoma is really a great show.  The male leas is a baritone.  Also Little Shop of Horrors.
