Has anyone produced this play before?  It's on our schedule this year, and I was wondering how anyone had handled the sea turtle at the end of the show.  Obviously, it needs to look fairly realistic, as opposed to using the trunks or crates used earlier in the show.

I plan on using projections, but haven't incorporated them before.  Anyone have any advice?

    Thanks!

I did this show a couple of years ago. We made the turtle from things around the set...the trunk etc and added the head and a pad to resemble the body. It was in keeping with the rest of the show since lots of it comes from his imagination.  It really is more character driven rather than realistic. Projections might add the realism you are seeking though.
