Position Available: High School After-School Theater Teacher - Part-Time .6 FTE

Responsibilities:
· Oversees all aspects of planning and production of the high school's after-school theater program
· Responsible for all aspects (technical, costuming, sound, etc.) of three annual performances: Fall: straight play | Spring: musical |Late spring: One Acts
Qualifications: The successful candidate has at least 2 years of theater teaching experience in either a school or studio. A College Degree is required, preferably in a related field. Washington State Teaching certificate preferred, but not required. Successfully pass background checks, including fingerprinting. Experience teaching teenage populations is preferred. Must enjoy working with teenagers. Timeliness is critical: candidate must be present for all auditions, rehearsals and tech week responsibilities; must be able to arrive at work on time and stay for the entire after-school period; must be flexible when extra rehearsals and/or tech week require longer time commitments.
