    Has anyone completed the Summer  MA in Theatre for Theatre Educators from the University of Houston, TX? I'm still exploring graduate programs I can complete in the summer and this one sounds promising.

    I have completed my first year in the program.

    It is a great well rounded program for theatre educators. Classes in voice, acting, acting styles, scenic design, dramaturgy, directing, lights and costuming, and that is just the first two years. Very long days with great students (cohorts of 12 from around the world) and instructors. Not only the working professionals at UofH attached with the Alley theatre, but we travel to other cities for a week to work with companies and individuals attached to other theaters. This summer we go to London to study with the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts.

    I am sure if you asked Jackie deMontmollin at jdemontmollin@uh.edu she would be more than willing to answer any questions you might have.
