This year, I opted to write an original musical for my organization to use for One Act Play competition.  I needed a play that was a musical with mostly ensemble numbers, a play that could be performed in any type of performance space, and a play that we could actually afford on our extraordinarily tight budget. This play was simply non existent, so we created it instead. (And the play had phenomenal results, helping us place 3rd at state competition and was very well received by our community audiences).  Now I am looking to license the musical at a very affordable price and use any royalties to supplement my club's tight budget. Anyone have suggestions on how I could promote the licensing of this production to schools who had the same needs as I did? My goal is to help my club survive, but also provide worthy productions for others who share my same obstacles!
