I'd really like to buy a copy of the Stage Production Handbook, but have only found one copy available for $170! Does anyone know of another source? Is anyone interested in selling their copy? Please email me: Tisha.donnelly@...
I begin rehearsals in three and a half weeks and would love to have crew notebooks as recommended by Marilynn.

STAGE PRODUCTION HANDBOOK: Job Responsibilities for All Technical Backstage Crews by Kathryn Michele Busti published by Theatre Things. I don't remember how much it was. I bought loose leaf notebooks for every position and copied that section of the book for each crew head. Their reports, along with their design work, if applicable, were signed and placed in the book for the next crew head. A few of the notebooks had to be replaced with larger binders.

Hello!
I've been on the look out for a very comprehensive timeline for each of my tech crews. In the past, I have given them weekly To- Do lists based on the needs of the specific show. I'm looking for a timeline that would be general enough for any show, but specific enough to give a weekly guideline for each tech crew that spans about 6 total weeks of production work leading up to a show.
For example-
Week 1
Costume crew- Get measurements, analyze script, discuss designs
Props crew- create props list, find rehearsal props
etc.
Does anyone have anything like this or has anyone found something similar? Otherwise I'll try to create something.
Thanks!
