The National Festival listed a workshop that ended up cancelled called Alumni Booster Club or something along those lines. I found the idea intriguing and other Troupe Directors expressed disappointment that the workshop was cancelled. Does anyone use alumni members for a booster club that is different from a parent booster? If so, how?

The Thespian Festival workshop that was unfortunately canceled was to be presented by Frederic Ballo, a board member for the California State Thespians who coordinates Thespian alumni for their state Thespian Festival and other activities.  Frederick has lots of experience both leveraging alumni and presenting this workshop throughout the country. Perhaps he could share some of his best practices on this topic.
