I am seeking one act plays the have roles for both Spanish speaking and English speaking actors.  Any recommendations greatly appreciated!

Look for any of Luis Valdez's one-acts. There is an anthology entitled ACTOS! that is still in print, I believe.
Also, Gary Soto wrote a very funny poke at changing oneself to fit in, called NERDLANDIA. The play may be a little too sensitive for some groups, as it pokes fun at the cholo culture as well as nerds.
There is another show called ALICIA IN WONDERTIERRA. It may be full length, however.

    Good Afternoon!

We perform a Latin show every year. What I love the most about these plays is that the dialogue is beautifully written weaving Spanish and English cleverly together and the story flows.

Our Spamish and English speaking audiences can understand the shows at the same time. J

In reference to the last email-

I completed the cutting for Anna in the Tropics By Nilo Cruz.

The other titles are really close to 40 minutes. We did Bocon by Lisa Loomer and Anna in the Tropics by Nilo Cruz for UIL.

    Have a great day!
