In lieu of something more specific, wouldn't LinkedIn be a good place to start?
Alternatively, on Facebook you could search around for local/state wide groups who post events/productions etc, might be another place to look.
Otherwise, the EDTA website might be a wonderful place to start such a project!

Hello. I am currently the Director of Theatre at The Hotchkiss School in Connecticut. I am interested in putting together a directing website that would allow me to link potential summer theatre employers to my work and resume.
