    Hope everyone is gearing up for what will surely be a fantastic 2019 EdTA Conference in my home city NYC!

    Wanted to do a little shameless plugging for my workshops!

    Title: Austen's Pride: From First Page to Broadway Stage
    Day: Friday, Sept. 20
    Time: 2:30pm-4:00pm
    Room: Cobble Hill
    • Join members of the pre-Broadway hit "Austen's Pride" producing and education team for an insightful discussion on how a Broadway musical goes from an idea to an actuality.
    • Through the lens of the musical "Austen's Pride", this workshop will look into how a show evolves and changes from first idea to Broadway production.
    • "Austen's Pride" is currently in rehearsal at the 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle for it's pre-Broadway launch! https://www.5thavenue.org/show/austens-pride


    Title: The 12-Step Program
    Day: Saturday, Sept. 21
    Time: 2:00pm-3:30pm
    Room: Golden Boardroom

    • Musical theatre dance is made up of the same basic dance steps, done in a different order with a different arm. Learn the basics of musical theatre danct that you can incorporate into your programs and musicals.
    • Be prepared (NOT SCARED) to move and come with a willingness to participate.
