  • 1.  Officer structure and grade levels

    Hi there,
    There has been some questions about having Grade 12 students as the President of the troupe as they leave school earlier in April to take exams in the school system I work in. In other systems I've seen - they have the Grade 11 student as the president and they act as the Vice president when they are in Grade 12... or as a mentor to the president when in Grade 12. 

    We are currently in the situation that 3 of our 6 officers are in Grade 12, and will no longer attend school on a regular basis from April 22nd - in order to prepare and take exams through the month of May. This leaves us in a bit of a situation - without leadership in the troupe. 

    What suggestions do you have? Has anyone else had this problem? How was it solved?

    I might hold elections for next year's officers now.  They can be acting Officers/President for the months of April and May and then take over official duties next year.
