My students are selecting their Thespy pieces for this year. I've read the handbook, but not sure on two items (if I've missed where it's posted, please share!)
1) What are the guidelines around the assigned gender of roles? I know a student can perform whichever character they feel aligns with their personal identity, but what about if I have two girls students who want to do a song that is typically a male/female musical theatre duet? Does vocal part matter?
2) What about pieces that may have mature themes and content? Is it just the guidelines we would use at our school for appropriate content?
