Greetings!

We are gearing-up to produce The Sound of Music in the spring of 2019. Last year we successfully produced The Wizard of Oz. Lots of challenges for special effects. We cast a real 'Toto'....the actor's name was Felix - a well-trained Yorkie. So much fun! One of the challenges was finding a way for Glinda to make a fabulous entrance in to Munchkinland, and at other times. We had a donor who paid to have a 'bubble' manufactured. Built by professional metal-workers, this item of my design worked so well that it got applause, when it first 'fell' from the sky! It was designed for straight up-and-down 'flying'.

Made completely of aluminum, it weighs approx. 35 pounds and can support up to 450 pounds (our Glinda was no more than 110 haha). It is 5' 8" in diameter, has a seat and footplate. Using a system of pulleys, and two strands of 1/8" steel cable, she flew in and out flawlessly. If your venue is interested in renting this necessary item for your production, please feel free to post in this thread with some contact info. The rental is suggested at $200 for up to 4 weeks. This is negotiable, considering whether it would be picked up or shipped. The weight is not the issue in shipping, it's the bulky size! So, that can be discussed at a later time.

Do you have pictures of the bubble? We are very interested in renting and are located in KY so shipping may not be necessary if pickup could be arranged.
