EdTA National Conference Grant Recipients 2017

The Educational Theatre Association has awarded four members with the EdTA National Conference Grant for Theatre Educators in support of their professional development.

Federal Communication Commission to consider revised wireless microphone licensing rules  

On July 13, the Federal Communications Commission took action to revise and clarify its rules to promote more effective spectrum access for wireless microphone operations in the TV bands, including the needs of smaller professional theater, music, performing arts, and similar organizations.

Americans for the Arts releases new arts economic impact report

Arts & Economic Prosperity 5 is Americans for the Arts’ fifth study of the nonprofit arts and culture industry's impact on the economy. It documents the economic contributions of the arts in 341 diverse communities and regions across the country, representing all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
