Superb work done and kudos to State Director Jennifer Forrest-James for a successful and meaningful state festival.
Great success with:
- Organization
- Leadership from the STO
- Incorporating the Jr. Thespian event on the last day of Festival
- Expanding the festival (numbers of students attending - over 1650+) by creating two tracks - the yellow/blue group, each who were assigned to different areas of the festival and shows.
- Having long and short forms for the workshops
GREAT new idea implemented:
Collage Call Back Audition Breakfast. This was held with the college recruiters and students who received call backs. It was optional for all - great positive feedback from both the college auditors and students called back. This is bound to grow.
IMPORTANT LESSON TO CONTINUE:
Making sure all medical forms are in the three ring binders and well organized. There was a major medical emergency. Chapter Director and Board were able to deal with the emergency due to organization of the health forms on file. Due to the immediate attention with access to forms and the communication with the sponsor, the staff was able to handle the situation in a calm manner! It could have been much more stressful if the forms were not assessable and organized. Brava and Bravo to all!
