Nominating Committee approves five candidates: The Educational Theatre Association’s Nominating Committee has tapped five candidates to vie for two director seats in this year’s EdTA board election. The top two vote-getters among the five will be seated.

 

NATIONAL NEWS

Trump FY2018 Budget Proposal Calls for Elimination of NEA Funding: President Trump’s detailed budget for FY2018 was released on May 23, and this proposed budget shows an elimination of the NEA, and the NEH, among other federal agencies and programs. (Americans for the Arts)
