Midpoint in Rehearsals

So I'm going to hire a pianist for our musical.  Our student musicians are awesome, but most can't read music.  It is impossible for them to learn all the songs for our musical by ear in the four weeks we have left until our production.  And so, I'm hiring a pianist.  I have no idea how this is going to fit into our budget, but I'm going to have to make it work!  That way our students musicians can focus on the three big numbers of the show where we really need a full sound.  I decided that instead of having fifteen "okay" songs, we should have 15 "awesome" songs.

Other than that, rehearsals are coming along nicely.  This week is heavy on choreography and blocking.  Every day thus far we've had crew members crafting, building, and painting.  Everything is coming together, but I'm still so nervous!  I just hope we can pull it all off.
